ResponsibilitiesManagement of the overall recruitment and selection processOversee the new hire orientation processEnhance employee relations; offer support to management, teams and individuals;Ensure innovative systems and practices for employees including onboarding, development, needs assessments and trainingManage overall payroll processes and proceduresEvaluate, recommend and implement modern systems for the HR experienceMonitor and report on key human resources metrics (ie: turnover, exit interviews, staffing activity, diversity and overall trends,); recommend methodologies and actions to leadershipMaintain a working knowledge of federal and state legislation that impacts the various facets of the employment function to insure practices and policies are in compliance for domestic and international staff;Ensures proper policy development and documentation;Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief of Administration
RequirementsEducation/ExperienceBachelor s degree in Human Resources or related business field; SHRM-CP a plus;3+ years experience in an HR supervisory positionDemonstrated experience in handling employee relationsProject management proficiency; especially with implementation of new programsComprehensive knowledge and understanding of local, state and federal employment lawsExceptional interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills; strong relationship-building skills; ability to train employees on human resource systems, procedures and practicesStrong understanding and experience with HR systems
