Company Overview Intra-Cellular Therapies (ITCI) is a biopharmaceutical company committed to the development of novel CNS medications, through leveraging pioneering and innovative technology for the treatment of neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases. The Company is developing its lead candidate, lumateperone, a first-in-class molecule, which is currently under FDA review for the treatment of schizophrenia, as well as in Phase 3 clinical development for other neuropsychiatric disorders. ITCI has a diverse portfolio of investigational compounds across different stages of drug development, utilizing its robust phosphodiesterase (PDE) platform and other proprietary chemistry platforms to develop medications for the treatment of chronic CNS and other disorders.? Based on the pioneering efforts of co-founder and Nobel laureate, Dr. Paul Greengard, we have developed a detailed understanding of intracellular signaling pathways and intracellular targets. ITCI has developed several proprietary, technology platforms including CNSProfile?, which monitors phosphoprotein changes elicited by major psychotropic drug classes and subclasses, as well as generates a unique molecular signature for drug compounds. By monitoring how the levels of these phosphoproteins change in vivo, ITCI?s goal is to identify intracellular signaling pathways through which several major drug classes operate and to use this information as a tool to validate the selection of preclinical candidate molecules.
