Job Responsibilities The Social Media Manager will administer the company s social media marketing and advertising. Administration includes but is not limited to: Deliberate planning, strategy and goal setting Development of brand awareness and online reputation Content management (including redesign and maintenance of website) SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic Cultivation of leads and sales Reputation management Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns. Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print, and digital marketing) Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising. Manage or oversee all social advertising campaigns. Maintain all social media platforms Create and manage company blog/newsletter Write scripts and edit videos for posting on the company's YouTube channel The Social Media Manager is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. Qualifications Must be located in New York City or close surrounding area Fluent in English - writing, and speaking Prefer Bachelor's degree in marketing or media Advance knowledge of all social media platforms - LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram Knowledge of WordPress and GoDaddy Prefer knowledge of Constant Contact Highly organized Ability to take direction and provide creative input when necessary Required to come into the office two days per week.
