THE ROLE This is a unique opportunity to join a fast paced, luxury skincare company that has been enjoying unprecedented growth both domestically and in international markets. Joining the New Product Development department will provide for experience in bringing prestige skincare products to life. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, can juggle multiple projects and is able to work as part of a fast-paced team. Key Responsibilities Update and maintain NPD closet, ensuring all samples, approvals and components are filed and logged.Assists with our sustainability initiative by promoting greener practices in-office, and staying up-to-date on green market trends.Coordinates all product formulations--- opening packages, distributing samples, labeling and organizing samples. Tracking development/ feedback and redirections in excelKeeps submissions extremely organized, with important details such as formula name and code, submission number, date and rejection/ approval.Maintains and organizes vault/ archives/ competitive products. Ensures these boxes are organized on an in-depth basisCreates thorough PowerPoint presentations for new concepts and competitive brands, to be shown in Lunch and Learns and commercial sessionsCreates and publish weekly news tracker, which highlights news across multiple markets and topicsCompile competitive products into competitive analyses. Products include not just offerings from western companies, but also from innovative Asian brandsResearch market trends and new launches to share a monthly innovation tracker with companyCreate logging system to track competitive samplesOther daily tasks include reviewing copy, sending out packages, compiling products for testing and assisting NPD team with daily tasks. Qualifications:Degree in marketing or product development. Current students are also encouraged to apply.Creative curiosity and interest in staying abreast of industry and product trends.Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects, often with competing deadlines.Willingness to function as part of a broader team that sometimes may have differing opinions and perspectives.Skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (or willingness to learn).Degree or degree in marketing or product development.
